Please accept our apologies for the following corrections. Whilst we make every attempt to ensure the accuracy of our patterns, we are human and sometimes our maths or typing fails.
Star Bright Quilt Pattern - released April 2010.
The Fabric requirements should reflect the need for 2.2m black/blue batik
and the cutting directions should read:
From the black fabric-
Cut seven 2" strips, cross cut to yield thirteen 2" x 19"
Cut three 3¾" strips, cut thirty template B and thirty B reverse
Cut one 13¾" strip, From this strip cut :
- Two 13¾" squares, cut these twice diagonally to yield eight quarter square triangles, side setting triangles
- Two 7 ½" squares, cut these once diagonally to yield four half square triangles, corners of quilt top
Cut four 3½" strips, first border
Cut one 3½" strip, second border
Cut three 3½" strips, cut forty eight template A
Cut six 2½" strips, binding.
For those who have already purchased their fabric. With careful cutting as you go and leaving your binding strips until last you will still get your pieces cut from the black/blue. We allow extra in our requirements for cutting and piecing errors.
