the orchids and leaves and highlighted the gold centres of the flowers I
quilted with gold DMC embroidery thread with a couple of gold
metallic threads. I made this for my Mum who has Alzheimer's Disease
as well as Osteoarthritis and is bed ridden and can only get around in a
wheelchair. My Mum had stopped talking for over a week, but when my
Dad put the quilt parcel on Mums bed and she opened it she was very
excited and started talking. I was so pleased…" |
