I have had this quilt in my head for quite
some time, and thought that I have no time to make it. But it got
the better of me, and I can work on it twenty minutes at a time for as
long as it takes. The first section is a lone star done over
papers - English piecing style.
Please email me if you would like to get
involved in making this one with me. The next section will include
stitchery, and probably some beads - I have some Celtic designs that I
think will work well.
Materials used so far are:
A run of 9 colours - I put aside .25cms
each, and as I don't really know where I am going with this, I can't be
more specific.
Pack of 100 diamod shaped papers, 45 degrees, with 2" sides (we can supply these).
The star measures 36 cm from point
to point at the widest part.
We can make up packs of fabrics for the
star in the colours of your choice, plus 100 papers for piecing,
including postage for $52.
Papers only, are $7.50 including postage
for 100.
The rest of the quilt is a mystery at this
stage, although the first square to go in a corner has been
completed and will soon be on the website
